Academic Program Overview
A-G Instructional Program
Palomares Academy’s instructional program is fully college preparatory. All required department courses are A-G approved. The Project Lead the Way (PLTW) biomedical sciences courses are approved for A-G as “g” college prep electives.

Palomares Academy offers college preparatory and advanced placement courses including but not limited to Career Technical Education CTE, PLTW, AVID, and Robotics. All of the courses offered at Palomares Academy meet graduation and A-G requirements. As a NAF academy, Palomares aims to produce college and career ready graduates. The most distinctive graduation expectation of a Palomares Academy student is to complete volunteer hours, work-based learning, and a compensated internship experience prior to graduation. The health sciences and medical pathway program has been successful at Palomares Academy because of the support from higher education, community organization, and industry partners.
